How to start your day???

The best ways to Kick-start your day:

The way we start our day can strongly influence the rest of the day. We all know that waking up on the right side of the bed sets the tone for what’s going to happen the rest of the day.

 Here are some tips tried and tested ways that I use to kick start my day.

  1. Get up early  without Hitting Snooze:

Most of us set the alarm with the best of intentions, knowing that’s the time they need to get up to meet the day’s demands. But then the alarm clock seems to ring before they’re ready to rise, so they’re hitting snooze and eventually running late. Something’s got to give.

Put your alarm clock far from your bed. If it’s right next to your bed, you’ll shut it off or hit snooze. Never hit snooze. If it’s far from your bed, you have to get up out of bed to shut it off. By then, you’re up. Now you just have to stay up.

It may take you anywhere between 30 to 60 days to get accustomed to the habit of waking up early. Once you get used to your new sleep schedule, you won’t even need an alarm to wake you up.

Welcome the day. Just keep moving. Rise from your bed and say, “Here I am. I’m showing up today!” 

2.Start Gradually :

Set realistic expectations and don’t start with an unnatural hour while waking up early. It’s best to push the time gradually. For example, if you are used to waking up at 6 am, start by setting the alarm for 5:45 am. Once your body gets adjusted to this change, you can push it further by another 15 minutes. Going step by step will help your body better adapt to the change.

3.Drink water:

Having a glass of water first thing in the morning is a refreshing way to soothe that dried out throat after a long night’s sleep. For those who snore especially, water is key to hydrating our irritated sinuses and vocal chords.

4.Meditate :

Clearing your mind to find some clarity before your hectic day is absolutely important for starting things successfully. Reach a place of strong, unshakeable inner peace before looking at your colorful calendar or checking your 50 unread emails. Put your mind first–after all, nothing works without it.

5.Exercise:

Exercising is a really great way to kick start your day. Again, find what suits you; you don’t have to jog ten miles or do a triathlon! I have a half an hour walk each morning, which gets me out into the fresh air and in contact with some daylight, which is important  when we generally spend more time indoors. That half hour walk really sets me up for the day. If the weather is very odd I do 10 minutes of Warmup exercises  at home  and go to gym .Some form of exercise will help you start your day on the right foot. Find what you enjoy and what fits in with your schedule. It doesn’t have to be all or nothing; start small and build on it.

6. Activate Your Brain and Create a successful Mindset:

“Before I get plugged into a busy, unpredictable day, I’ll take a cold-water Bath and Prepare myself a   Green Tea or Cup of Coffee and I’ll get my brain tuned up and remind my goals,

But sometimes passion or intrinsic motivation just isn’t enough to get you through. That’s when goals come into play. Why are you doing what you’re doing? Presumably you’re influenced by external drivers as well as internal ones — you want to earn a promotion, you want to reduce  a weight ,you want to save money to buy a house. On the days when you don’t feel inspired, remind yourself of what you could lose if you don’t give 100 % efforts.

 This step will help you Find out the activities that will sparkle up positive thoughts in your brain and always  Visualize how you are going to make your day.

7. Create a Simple To Do List

I find creating a to do list each day keeps me focused and clear on what I need to do, but I really try to keep it simple and just write two or three big important tasks. Be realistic about what you need to get done and bear your schedule in mind. If we always try and get too much done we can feel like we’re never achieving enough. Keep it simple.

This step will help you to determine your priorities.
